November pages

Allrighty then, I finally got some more pages scanned in. I think I stole the "Splorp" sound effect from Don Martin. I tried to create the creepiest yet cutest teddy bear I could there on the left page.
I think I've decided that a ball point pen is the best doodling tool ever invented. I'm having a blast experimenting with the various tones and values you can get. Thanks for looking at my mad rambling doodles!

Hahaha - great work.

Thanks Lauren! I'm thinking about actually having my wife sew me a teddy bear like the one in the sketch, I'm sure it will be pretty disturbing in 3 dimensions!

Hey, I'm back! Sorry I've been absent with blogging, but Halloween, moving, and a huge snowball of freelance gigs kept me away. It's good to get back...and that means checking out ole' dave's mad sketches. You ARE mad...but that's what we love. Awesome clownfaced dude with axe. Awesome creepy teddy bear. Awesome distended jaw on that big guy. And...is that a rain cloud raining on JUST the ice cream/flowers? That's hilarious! Keep going, man.

Thanks for checking out my stuff once again, always nice and encouraging to hear what you have to say! And yes, the rain is falling just on the guy's cotton candy (I guess it's kinda hard to tell what it is in the picture). I drew that after a bad day. Good to hear from you again!

oh so good! I need to buy a page of these someday soon. Paintings below are nice. They lose a bit of the fussy shading detail that the pen drawings have. colored pens could be neat. Don't take that wrong way, stuff is fantastic.

Thanks Dan! I've been tossing around the idea of assembling a sketchbook of all these to sell at conventions and stuff, if I do I'll send you a complimentary copy. Colored pens, now that's a fun idea, I'll try it!
