Wow, I haven't realized how much my current job situation has affected my doodling output, but this page is the only thing I've filled up the ole' Moleskine with since the holidays. I drew the page on the left with all the sweaty and miserable heads first and then thought it would be cool to do some happier heads on the right to contrast. These pages were crucial in me keeping my sanity through some really stressful times these past few weeks, funny how art can do that.

I found you through the New Yorker contest winners and was surprised to see that there was a good cartoonist from Fort Worth. I live in fort worth as well. You can check out some of my work on my blog http://bixbyandbixby.blogspot.com if you're interested.
Niiiiiiice heads. I'm finally back from a week-long trip to San Fran (it was awesome), and I just popped by...and what do I see but SWEATY, TENSE HEADS next door to SLAP-HAPPY HEADS. Nice contrast. I know which page I wanna be on! My, you draw sweat beautifully.
Hey Justin, I was wondering where you'd been lately! Hope you had a great trip and thanks again for the nice comments, I think I'll go draw some more heads.
