latest cartoon idiocy

Well well well, after quite a long break I finally got around to posting more sketchbook pages, sorry about the long hiatus! I bought one of those fancy pocket brush pens that the awesome Bob Flynn blogged about and have had a blast using it. Most of these new pages have drawings using this pen, some better than others as I tried to get used to it.

I guess when you want to yell but don't know what to yell, just yell YELL!

I just noticed that on the rare occasion I draw a happy character, the character looks insane. Whatever.

I seriously have no idea what that monstrosity os on the top left of the page, but it really weirds me out.

Once again, thanks to all the really cool folks that stop by my silly little corner of the internets, I promise to post more frequently! See ya!

Thanks Chris! Isn't that pen awesome? I bet you do some great drawings with it, you talented bastard!

Thanks R. Dress! Always appreciate your kind words!

Nice! You wield the brush pen well, sir. The guy you deem a monstrosity looks like some kind of butt face (and you know it!).

If I think of it, tomorrow I will yell YELL! at the top of my lungs.

Thanks for the shoutout, too!

A smorgasbord of goodness David!

Nice work with the pen brush, it lends itself well to your style.

I just have a feeling though, that you could draw with a piece of poop on the end of a stick and your work would still look amazing (but probably wouldn't smell all that fresh).

As usual, there are an abundance of hilarious (and twisted) characters on display here. Awesome stuff David.

By the way, your dreams must be freaky if you have weirdo's like this floating around in your head.

Thanks guys! Hey Bob, yeah he looks like he has a butt face all right, still doesn't explain how he ended up on my sketchbook. Or maybe it does.

Hey Jason, thanks dude! Although I have tried drawing with a "poop stick" it does tend to foul up the studio, so a brush and ink is the more desirable option. Thanks again for the kind words!

I like your style. You have the "ancient comic" touch and I admire it. The man with head body is amazing.

Hey Tomas, thanks! I must say I'm quite flattered you think I have the "ancient comic" touch, that's quite a compliment. I am inspired by lots of the greats so the influence is definitely there.

Thanks for the vote, David. :)

As always, I really enjoy perusing your visual mélange of mania. Nice brush work.
